ESCALES EN POLYNÉSIE – TITOUAN LAMAZOU

Traveling artist Titouan Lamazou will present the works he has created in recent years across the 5 archipelagos of French Polynesia. Nearly 200 works, including paintings and sketches, supplemented by texts from his daughter Zoé Lamazou, will trace his recent stays in our waters. Landscapes, fauna and flora, as well as portraits of anonymous individuals and writers, will be displayed by archipelago, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the artist’s universe as well as the diversity of landscapes of our islands.

UNE APPROCHE CONTEMPORAINE D’UN PATRIMOINE COMMUN

The idea for this exhibition was born during the lockdown period in order to provide contemporary artists with a space for expression. “Fa’aiho” means “to become aware again”, “to make someone aware of something”, “to make something understood”, “to shed light on”. “Tufa’a” refers to the notion of heritage.
